Website Build Intake Form

Everything I need to quote your site and start building it.

Answer what you can and skip what does not apply, blanks are fine and useful in themselves. Nothing here is a commitment. When you are done, hit Finish at the bottom and send me the result. Most people take about fifteen minutes.

A. The business

Address, or the area you serve if you travel to customers

In one sentence a customer would use, what does your business do?

Who is the customer you most want more of? Be specific if you can.

B. What you have now

If any of this is a shrug, say so. Not knowing who holds your domain is normal and it is one of the first things I sort out.

Current website address, if you have one

What is wrong with it? Or if there is no site, what has stopped you so far?

Who registered your domain, and do you have the login? Same question for hosting.

Is your Google Business Profile claimed, and are the hours and phone on it correct?

Which social pages do you actually keep up to date?

C. What the site has to do

This section decides the price more than anything else, so rough answers are still worth writing.

When someone lands on your site, what is the single thing you most want them to do? Call, book, order, request a quote, walk in?

List the services, menu sections, or treatments the site needs to cover.

Roughly how many pages do you picture? A guess is fine.

Do you need online booking, ordering, or payments? If you already pay for a tool (Square, Fresha, Calendly, OpenTable, Shopify, a delivery app), name it, because it usually decides how this gets built.

What do customers phone to ask that the site could answer instead?

Will you want to edit the text yourself after launch, or send changes to me?

D. What you already have to work with

Missing pieces are normal and each one is a priced add-on rather than a surprise later. Photos matter most: I will not use images you do not own the rights to.

Do you have a logo? If yes, do you have the original file from whoever made it, or only a picture of it?

Do you have photos of your work, premises, or team that you own the rights to?

Is there written text you want reused, or should I write it?

Where does your current menu, price list, or service list live? A PDF, a photo, a delivery app, your head?

Does the site need to be in more than one language?

E. Look and feel

Name two or three websites you like, and say what you like about each. They do not have to be in your industry.

Anything you definitely do not want? This is often more useful than what you do want.

Existing colours, fonts, signage, or vehicle livery the site should match?

F. Practicalities

Is there a date you need this live by, and is something driving it (a season, an opening, an ad campaign)?

What budget range are you working with? Saying it plainly saves us both a round of guessing.

Who else signs off on this besides you?
